Agnes’ banking experience spans over 17 years serving in different capacities and financial institutions across Marketing, Products, Sales and Transactional Banking.
She currently serves at Cairo Bank Uganda Limited as the Head of Marketing, Communications & PR responsible for developing, and implementing marketing, corporate communication, public relations and social responsibility as well as customer experience strategies to ensure effective market penetration, market share growth and positive public relations in line with the
Bank’s strategy. As a marketing and project professional, Agnes has served as Marketing Manager at CBA Bank Uganda Limited. In the Products space, she has previously served as the Manager, Products at I&M Bank Uganda Limited, prior to that as the Manager, Products and Channels at NCBA Bank Uganda Limited.
She is a seasoned and well-rounded Banker, who has served as Relationship Manager at both NCBA Bank formerly (CBA Bank) Uganda Limited and ABSA Bank (formerly Barclays Bank) Uganda Limited, having started as Customer Service Officer at Citi Bank Uganda Limited.
Her enthusiasm for marketing has extended to passing on knowledge to future marketers serving as Tutor for Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) at Datamine Accredited Study Centre (ASC). Agnes holds a Bachelor of Arts (Social Sciences) MUK; PGDip and Masters’ Degree in Project Planning and Management (UMI), PGDip in Marketing CIM, UK. She is a professional marketer following the award of Post Graduate Diploma in Professional Marketing by The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) United Kingdom. She is a member of Uganda Marketers’ Society (UMS), Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM) UK.
